i haven’t been in much contact wif ppl who cough, except for this very inconsiderate person, who appears to be coughin 360 days a year. of course she doesnt cough her lungs out everyday, but she jus seems to have an incurable itchy throat. so coughin is as normal as breathin is to her, so much so that she doesn’t even bother coverin her mouth when she clears her throat. so u can be talkin to her n suddenly she goes “kof, kof.. kof, kof” in ur face.

wat an idiot. n when she was sufferin frm a serious flu + sore throat + cough + everythin bad few days ago, she din even bother wearin a mask! wtf.. in the light of the swine flu threat, why did she not wear a mask n still go ard spreadin germs? damn. eat shit la 猪脸!

anyway, to stop my coughin fit, i used this self-invented remedy for the cough. i sipped warm water, a little at a time so tt i can constantly keep my throat moist, cos sometimes dry throats become itchy. the water is not hot-hot, but it’s a little warmer than is comfortable, so tt it can “numb” n soothe e throat.

i did this for two glasses of water, until my cough stopped. it was horrible cos before tt i was almost coughin my lungs n tears out! n then i went back to my work, n suddenly there was one final cough, n out came the sneaky phlegm. all appeared fine after that. kewl...

i duno if this is a real remedy *haha*, but i suppose it prolly only works for a very slight, minor cough (or perhaps it’s not even serious enough to be called a cough yet), but no harm tryin e next time u sense a slight itch in ur throat!

if i had planned to get a $2k bag, n had gone out to get it, i wldn’t have felt thrilled at all.
but if i had gone shoppin for an autumn trench coat in general, suddenly spotted a topshop coat which costs $200 n liked it so much tt i bought it? that wld make me really excited n happy!
 
i wld usually not have bought a non-wool coat for $200, but this was sthg unplanned for, n the coat is one which i really like very much, thus givin a source of surprise and excitement hahaha!

at a time when life sucks n there seems to be nothin more to life than work, work, work..depression, i decided to let myself off e leash last wkend n embarked on a 3-day shoppin spree!

it all started on friday when i went to vivocity wif colleagues durin lunch n bought the cool coat frm topshop, as well as a very chic river island dress at 30% off! the dress has got a peek-a-boo at the small of e back.. cool.. muahaha! felt so happy for baggin the surprise coat & the bargain dress!

and then came evening, when i went back to vivocity to continue wif e shoppin. got a **mystery item** frm A/X that costs more than my fave coat. hiak hiak.. more shoppin ensued over e wkend as the retail therapy appeared to work pretty well this time round. also bought some other stuffs for our melb trip..

but when sunday came, reality started to hit cancan once again. so the expensive mango suit pants, linen pants n lovely knit tops were forgone.. decided to wait till e sale la urghhh!

and gone too was the one-of-a-kind blue satin flat pumps frm zara, but that was cos they only had one blardy last pair in e entire Singapore n it was in a very bad condition. boohoo. was pretty upset over this.. i took a photo of it cos i wanna bring it to leapin lizard to custom make a pair!

sigh.. why did monday come so soon??
