tada~! my hair grew 26cm overnight!
e new hair was like rebonded-straight on e first nite, but after jus one wash n a night’s slp, it became a natural wave. i like e soft curls better actually. they make me look more feminine!
but e problem wif usin real hair for this purpose is tt the quality of e hair can be quite an issue. basically, split ends. there r thousands of them in the hair, much more than i have ever seen or will ever see in my entire life. the splits are so ridiculously bad tt i find them quite amusing sometimes. i’ve endeavoured to trim off 100 split ends a day.. so they shld all be gone in 1 mth. haha!

today i hadda go to work on my own.
at 8am, i decided if i wanna reach office before 9am, i hadda take a cab to office. so i boarded a cab.. n wat usually takes 30-35min, took me almost an hr to reach office.
i can understand if e cab driver doesnt keep to e most desirable lane if he doesnt noe which way i’m gg, but to go into the right-most lane n stoppin behind a bloody long trail of cars, makin me wait 3 traffic lights before turnin when we cld’ve gone by the 2nd lane was jus fuckin retarded. n to anticipate n stop before a yellow light.. i was like HELLO!!! dun u noe tt it’s ok to proceed if u’re at e stop line?!
well, after all, cab drivers have no incentive to weave thru e roads n rush like mad for u. when e peak hr is comin to an end, they’d rather keep u in e car longer than to waste their time roamin ard waitin for e next passenger after u’re gone.
in e end, i hadda instruct him to keep to e lane tt i deem best.
“pls keep to e left lane.. it’s e same.”
i told him tt when he started queueing behind a line of cars in e middle lane at e red light, when e left lane only had a few cars n e road behind was C-L-E-A-R. e left lane was not even a turnin/sharing lane. WTF.
i think my dad n DT r too good at driving alrdy la. they make e cab driver look so bad, i almost wanted to k him. bleah.

first i hadda end up in flip flops cos i left my black flats in e office.
cancan sprained her ankle n cldnt wear heels la.
n i was wearin a short dress, which made me look like i came frm e beach. zzz.
anyway when we got there, the seats were not even half filled
i wondered if it was cos it’s a matinee or if e overall response was jus lacklustre.
nevertheless, lea salonga was great..
i only liked e parts when she sang, n other parts when the cast sang.
other than that.. the lines were stupidly comedic.
n them being so American made me feel like it’s some Hi-five musical. haha!
i seriously wasnt expectin much of a comedy in e muscial..
i thot it was supposed to be magical + romantic! crap.
it was like a musical for kids instead.
they seemed to have a GRRREAT time, burstin out into laughter every now n then.
but for cancan, it was far frm makin it to her fave list of musicals.
i had a better time listenin to the CD soundtrack i bought tho.
but!! the CD packagin was crap too!
e case was broken (not cracked, but broken!!), the cover booklet looked like it was frm some pirated CD!
and it was crumpled at e corners! wat e hell….
i think cinderella is, after all, a small production.

seeing someone who makes a face at the mention of her impending delivery, who’s not exactly positive abt her growin responsibilities (erm.. breastfeedin, takin care of e baby, findin childcare etc etc), who doesnt like takin photos anymore cos she thinks she looks ugly, makes one think that it was a SxxxGxx.
but of course it’s not.. n that only makes one wonder if the mum-to-be is really mature enough n ready for the pregnancy. i’m not in any position to judge, but this kept me thinkin for quite a while, n will serve as a reminder for me to reflect upon my own maturity in time to come.
i came to the office at 8.15am but am thinkin of wat bag to buy. oh so bimbotic.. haha.
i’m really happy wif my current bag n wished i’ll never need to change again
but, duno why, it looks friggin friggin old after jus a couple of mths.
i’m crap wif bags man.. they jus suffer badly in my hands. 
feel like gettin a bag tt’s:
1) not too common (think LV)
2) not too expensive (think chanel 2.55)
3) not too cheap ( …wateva… )
4) not gonna end up at half / less than half its price in no time (think coach / gucci)
aiyoh! maybe i shld buy my current bag again! it’s e loveliest thing at its price n it fits all the above criteria!
or maybe i cld get a gucci, since i havent got any before.
any suggestions, anyone??

chose the matinee as i always love a bit of a dream-come-true, warm feel on a lazy saturday/sunday. after numerous experience, cancan now realised tt e best seats at Esplanade are not those in the stalls (e block right in front of e stage) unless u are a tall tall ang moh. e last time i was there wif yimei, i hadda stretch my neck e entire time! of course it’s never good to be too far if u wan a great experience.
the foyer stalls wld be e best choice - and i mean e first row only, obviously. the foyer stalls r slightly raised, so being in e first row ensures u’re not too far away, n yet allows u to have e most unobstructed view. well, perhaps e VIP stalls do e same too.. i havent tried VIP seats before tho.
so anyway, anyway! we got tix exactly at where we wanted! in e middle! haha! and how did we get it? apparently the very unbelievable cancan kept adding n adding tix to her cart (only had a short 10min each try to add as many pairs of tix as possible).. so tt e system will keep churnin out different seats for her to choose. after a good half hr**, we finally got wat we wanted! yayyy!! so happy! i’m gg to watch my broadway idol Lea Salonga! 
me n tuck tuck left everythin behind in this ugly world n went on a retreat in Japan for our Magical Winter Trip 2008! we ushered in the new year wif a fun-filled day in Tokyo Disneyland - watch out for followin posts!!
