it was a week of good food n funfare for us in london, all expenses on cancan! erm well almost all lol..

saturday: it was tuck tuck’s day of arrival! yippee! it was also a rehearsal day for e Queen’s bdae celebrations! me n amelia decided to go for dim sum at imperial china before gg to watch e horseguards parade.

the horseguards parade had ended by e time we reached buckingham palace. omg. we’re such an idiot hahaha! i decided to give tuckie a surprise by gg to meet him at e airport. plan failed cos i was too late n he had left by e time i reached. crap.. hadda meet him somewhere along e tube line in e end. bleah!

that nite we watched Romeo and Juliet at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. i din enjoy e play that much tho.. still prefer musicals. it started rainin n got too cold for comfort but we stayed on to make our £34 tix worthwhile haha!

on another day, we visited the Tower of London. days started real late for us cos cancan is a blardy pig n needs hrs to get prepared. we ended up havin to compromise e amt of time spent at each place. but heck, it’s a R&R trip so cancan din wanna be rushed! :p

a world-famous maze can be found in Hampton Court Palace - tt’s a main factor behind my decision in visitin e palace which is out of central london. there were speakers that gave off scary noises n dog barks at different bends in e maze, which made cancan e scaredy cat a lil scared. got a short video here which we took while findin our way out of e maze!

before i forget my adventures in my final wk in Londontown, lemme post some entries on it.. i really miss e times me n tuck tuck had in london n europe. it was 3 wks of fun n enjoyment in a trouble-free, sweet sweet world of our own.

while things r still very sweet now, they aint necessarily trouble-free anymore cos tuck tuck has to work n work is gettin more demanding, whereas cancan has to study n the study path only gets more arduous. really wish we can go on a long, carefree trip again soon!

hokkaido is our next intended trip but really i feel like conquering e US (read: buy cheap VS, bebe, polo ralph n coach la) or even visiting korea n china once again. ok i duno how many times i’ve been to these 2 countries alrdy but im jus a goondu who likes to re-visit places i’ve been to! i can alrdy imagine tuck tuck saying “one at a time.. one at a time!”

me n tuck tuck went for a really shiok meal at Crystal Jade Korean BBQ restaurant last Fri.. we had the really delicious beef ribs (my fave!) n tried deer meat which wasnt exactly very good, among other side dishes. e meal was so good that our usually carb-conscious tuck tuck ended up havin almost 2 bowls of rice!! OMG!

i jus wanted to write this post to highlight e imptance of havin a comprehensive medical insurance plan. few days back i met an old fren for coffee n he was tellin me abt e medical bills of some of his family members.

his dad was diagnosed wif some very rare cancer n subsequently passed away. his medical bills came up to more than $200k, n because he had some life insurance policies which paid out $200k it kinda helped wif e situation, but still they hadda fork out abt $50k..

his dad’s case was a valid claim under his life insurance policies becos he was diagnosed wif cancer, which is one of e critical illnesses covered.

not too long ago, his bro had some rupture in his intestine which became very critical. his medical bill was abt $90k, but this was totally not claimable under any life insurance policy! only a medical insurance policy will cover such medical expenses comprehensively.

medical insurance? think Medishield. but Medishield is only sufficient if u intend to stay in Class C or lower Class B2 wards in public hospital. if u wan better services n shorter waiting time for treatments, rem to up ur medical insurance coverage by buyin a plan frm private insurers. which reminds me.. i needa get one as soon as i get officially employed again!

nvrtheless, adopting a healthy lifestyle is still e best way to keep ill health at bay. i wish my family n frens good health in e years to come!

last sat tuck tuck dragged cancan to kbox out of e blue, insistin tt she shld sing sing sing!

it was tuck tuck’s first time gg to ktv wif his gf alone n we both were feelin thrilled, tho i also felt really stressed since i’ve neva sung ktv before! so in an attempt to encourage cancan to overcome her shyness, tuck tuck said i cld jus go n listen to him sing haha.

when tuck tuck first sang, cancan felt even more paiseh, cos tuck tuck had no inhibitions n sung pretty well! tuck tuck continued encouragin cancan to project her voice n kept reassuring her by sayin things like “i love ur voice” etc..

three hrs later.. cancan was completely hooked on singing! she requested for an extension but kbox was fully booked by then. it was so fun to sing in front of tuck tuck tho i suck at it muahahaha! so yep, we’re gg ktv again this fri!

today at abt 12.30pm i was awaken by someone in my room. i woke up wif a shock but i was quick to realise that it was my dt before i screamed out loud haha. 

my sweet darling had come back to have lunch wif me n to send me to SSDC to apply for my PDL. i was really touched by his sweet gesture.

i finally got my PDL today! cancan’s going on the road tmr on her 3rd drivin class! **excited**
