lil’ snow white

lil’ snow white went shoppin wif her london shoppin kaki amelia ytd! e shoppin outing was a big success! lol!! i went out wif one item on my shoppin list (oh yeah amelia was really surprised to see i made a shoppin list for clothes in my organiser zzz), n came back wif heaps more!

before we start, jus a map to visualise our loooong shoppin route for e day:

e day started at john lewis near oxford circus, where we checked out e expensive bath n body prdts..

we saw lots of brands we havent seen before.. i was decidin bw l’occitane’s grape shower oil n orange shower gel. i prefer e smell of grape but dun exactly love shower oil.

n then we decided to check out Primark, e big discount store for clothes n stuffs. we must have been crazy to walk all e way to marble arch for primark. on our way there we saw lotsa ppl carryin BIG BIG bags frm primark. it was our first time there actually! we were both unimpressed wif e stuffs in e huge store. it was freakin crowded n e queue to e fittin room was like madness. snow white decided tt it’ll be her first n last time there. bleah..

n then we decided to have some sashimi at Selfridges Food Hall. i saw e traditional jap tamago n bought 10 slices of it. i swear i saw it was £2.70 per kg, which sounds real cheap! but no, at e till i realised it was £2.70 per 100g = £27 per kg!!! wth!! 不想活了啦.

after lunch, we came to GAP.. i saw this really pretty dress n i like it soooo much! it costs £40!! and as u can see frm e pics, e dress is made of e standard GAP material which is lousy n thin n will most prob look really old after a few washes. it’s so thin u can see my black bra n my black tights. dammit! argh.. but i love e feel of it sooo much. i look sooooo sweet n girly in it, i look like a princess. ok tt’s funny. why wld a princess even wear a peasant-lookin dress? crap.

i havent got e dress cos of e steep price –> note: haven’t got, not din get. wahaha! i’m still considering, considering, considering.. n i love it so much, i started takin loads of pics of it in e fittin room! hehe..

n then e real shoppin started at H&M near bond street station!

n then we tried tons of clothes. i can jus spend hrs shoppin in H&M!! i found e navy blue jacket which was in my shoppin list, in size 6!! HOORAY!! tt’s e only size 6 left n i grabbed it immediately. abt 1.5 hrs later, after repeatedly visting e fitting rooms n perhaps 50 fitting, we proceeded to e till. it was then i realised tt i had 2 pairs of e same denim shorts, one of e wrong size, n i’d lost my fave navy blue jacket!!! wth!!!

n so me n amelia went lookin for e poor lost jacket all ard e 3-storey huge store, n went to e fittin room twice/thrice to ransack e huge pile of clothes to see if i’d dropped it there. somehow e poor jacket was never found. felt like such an idiot.. how cld this ever happen??!! but yeah, weird things happen to snow white..

we finally gave up n decided to go check out other branches.

so frm bond street, we headed towards oxford circus branch. found e jacket, but not in size 6. boohoo. decided to hurry to e outlet at regent street. no size 6 as well there.. we started shoppin again at this huge outlet. different outlets seem to carry different stuffs n we were thrilled! i bought some tops n a pair of heels (same design, different color) again!

n then finally we came to e tottenham court road branch - snow white’s final hope. i spotted one jacket, yeah jus one, n immediately brought it to e sales assistant n asked where i can find e sizes. he pointed to where i found e jacket - they were jus above e piece i saw lar. crap.. ok we were too short.

so me n amelia were gg thru e sizes, n VOILA! there it was.. SIZE 6!! i was sooooo thrilled.. i tried to get e piece down but dammit i cldnt reach e hanger..

me: arghhh i can’t get it..
am: oh no.. oh no.. how..

i must have looked like a crazy girl tryin to stretch as much as i cld to get it down.. as if it’ll run away rite. then e sales assistant started laughin n came to our rescue. 屁啦.. hang so high for wat!

as u noe blog.com is e most retarded blog service ever found on e net n only idiots like snow white use it n even have to pay for it. expectedly, their blog customisation is practically non-existent unless u noe some alien language called CSS, which explains why my blog has been spottin a plain black bg for YEARS.

today i managed to find a really nice customised theme for my multiply site, n that finally sparked off my interest in CSS. i bravely attempted to write my own CSS code for my blog.. everythin worked well n a painful 4-hr later, i finally got my first painstakingly written blog layout done!

however, fate had it tt my codes were incompatible wif internet explorer, n as soon as i viewed them in IE e layout all went haywire. TMD!

i suspected there was sthg wrong wif some relative margins, but i cldnt solve e prob.. it’s after all my first day at writing CSS. i discovered tt IE does not have as good support as firefox for CSS n it is jus plain bloody crapshit n everyone shld jus switch to firefox!!!

anw after a further tormenting 4-hr session, i finally did it. *SUCCESS!!* it works perfectly fine on firefox (n IE too e last i checked) now, n i’m not gonna give a damn abt it if sthg goes wrong in IE again!

the weather today was perfect!! i had an outin wif my new found fren jenny n her frens at portobello mkt!

i was out in my shorts! yay finally e weather is gettin warmer! actually i only saw one girl in e crowd who was wearin socks w/o leggings. ppl were starin at me for my attire, but heck! spring is here n snow white is thrilled!!

we came to this pub wif real weird doors!

we had lunch at e garden.. weet!! but e beer battered cod was ok only..

i came to this stall to buy seals. this frenly old uncle thot i was 18! gosh.. he was shocked to hear tt i was 25, n said if i were 20 yrs older, n he’s 30 yrs younger, he’d ask me out. omg.

then we got onto e topic of mathematics, n he started talkin to me abt vedic maths! omg. haha.. he was so engrossed wif it, i felt bad makin other customers wait to get his attn. we must have chatted for a real long time. by e time i was done, my frens have finished walkin e whole street n had walked back to where we came frm, had a brownie n were waitin for me. haha..

so as i was payin for my seal, uncle john said since he fell in love wif me intellectually, he shall give me a small seal as a gift. we took a pic tog before i left n freak, he was holdin on to me so closely when takin e pic! zzz.. neverthless a very kind old man who’s as usual, a lil long winded.. i enjoy chattin wif local ppl on outings like this tho.

the outing ended rather early at 3plus.. it was a really lovely day to be out man.. even my place looks really beautiful for e first time. i thot of darlin n felt really blissed-out. life is so wonderful!

by then, i had started feelin hungry like i din have lunch at all (freakin PIG!!) so i went to get some fried chicken. passed by the hotel tt darling stayed at durin his surprise visit in march.. he had chosen a hotel that was closest to me so tt it’d be easier for him to see me everyday. oh well haha.

n then i passed by lever street, which was e place where he first held my hand. i was feelin really shy then.. din really expect him to hold my hand actually, but felt really happy n sweeeeet like a young girl. our love is so pure n innocent, it is so special to me. everythin feels like a first time!

life is jus so wonderful now.. even when we’re apart. not tt i love bein away frm dt! it’s jus tt LDR = long dist r/s no longer is a drag to me emotionally, but has somehow become an emotional support.. in such a way that i can truly enjoy outings n life in london while noeing that someone is still “there” with me n for me.

i actually once said tt i was grateful to have found the ex (yes, i’ve always thot he was good enough n i’ve been grateful).. but now i jus feel like im e luckiest luckiest luckiest girl in e world hahaa! bleah darling, dun get jealous!

it’s like everythin has never been so in balance, so right before.

life is perfect, now that i’ve found you..

is it damn 变态 to buy an umbrella at S$100?
i like to buy impractical things.. but i dun rem buyin impractical things at this price before haha.

i saw this really cute radley brolly online at ebay last nite.
i was watchin e item n considerin very hard, n this morn someone bought e item alrdy!
dammit.. as usual such events make me wanna get e item even more.
so there’s an online shop sellin this at a higher price, abt £30+

it opens up to be sthg liddat but i like e foldable version
i really love the poppy fields design..
i so love pretty floral designs!
they even have a bag for e series.. hah bag is like £200 can..

i havent gotten accustomed to e idea tt radley can cost so much.
S$1000+ for dior seems ok but $600 for radley seems friggin exp..

it’s jus like we’re more easy wif spendin money at VS as compared to Zipia.
both cost ard e same but we think Zipia is exp haha!

today i decided to be a hero.
i wore a 3-qtr sleeved jacket n some thin short sleeved top out cos it was bright n sunny.
10 min after i left home, it started raining. kaoz!

it must have been e heaviest rain i’ve ever seen in london.
i got stuck in sch as a result.. thot i’d have caught a cold if i had gone out.
but i needed to get lunch n my lancome eye gel, so i left sch once e rain became lighter.

as soon as i got out, e drizzle turned into a rain again. dammit
was so tempted to go to topshop to get a new brolly. my current one broke on my 2nd use!
walked ALLLL e way to Boots at liverpool st station, only to be told tt they ran out of e eye gel!!

i knew this was gonna happen. i knew it.
i knew it’d happen this way so tt i’ll feel compelled to go shoppin for it in town haha!
so i bought plasters for e blisters tt were threatenin to burst on my tofu feet n headed for oxford street (my fave n most frequently visited place in london)!

decided to check out H&M first.
saw a few things i like, but realised i din bring my 20% off coupon. stupid nut.
n they ran out of my fave blue satin hairband!! so upset..

my topshop umbrella is not available anymore too. dammit!!
shld’ve jus gotten 3 back then.. argh!!

so here i was at H&M at oxford circus.. n i turned right to Boots at bond street.
thot i was gonna kill myself if they dun have e eye gel as well.
yeah, spot on. OUT OF STOCK.

well i din kill myself, jus started draggin my feet towards tottenham court road
which was a freakin long walk! tt’s almost e whole of oxford street!!

decided tt i shant come to oxford street for nothing.
so on e way, i stopped by bershka n got a pair of bright yellow shorts!
then i conveniently popped by mango which was jus beside it.

at mango i had a personal shopper - a turkish lady wif beautiful eyes!
she followed me up n down e 3 floors, holdin e clothes i wanna buy/try for me
n recommendin to me items which she thot i’d like.

i’ve never had such an experience b4 in mango!
it felt like she was on some commission or sthg wahaha..
so anw i left mango wif some shorts n nice tops!
eeks, dun worry darling. everythin’s in control *i think* :p

my new shorts!! now i’ve got a multi-colored collection of shorts!

so now i’ve amassed abt 15 short/mini bottoms for spring/summer!!
that’s abt enough for me for this season.
decided to close shop for bottoms but i dun mind 1 or 2 more nice denim mini skirts waha!

ok back to my day..
so after mango, i headed for boots n voila! they’ve got my eye gel!!
n then somehow e salesgirl screwed up sthg, n i’ve got an extra £10 rebate on my Boots card!

eye gel in a small cute bottle. no need for travel sized ones anymore!

and so coincidentally, there was a Wasabi jus nearby this Boots outlet
i finally got my jap lunch (at 6pm) and headed home wif ALL e things i set out to buy today.
wat a rare achievement!

the result of this whole shoppin saga?
a pair of grotesquely blistered feet + a tinge of guilt + a truckload of shallow happiness!
YAY YAYYYY!!!

anyway back to english writing.. i’m givin up on my life paper! muahahaha!

decided that e health paper today is gonna be a-ok and i need not take an additional paper as a backup. sounds kinda dum cos i’m in life insurance so i shld be takin life paper instead of health ins paper.. but heck, e health paper came first and ta-dah!

i’m really glad + relieved cos i thot i wasn’t exactly well prepared for this paper. but unlike my previous after-exam posts, all hell did not break loose this time. wahaha! no kaki to club wif, no money to shop wif etc. machiam nothin to do after exam but to clean up my room.. kao..

i think i’m e only one whose exams finish today, which also happens to be e first day of exams! wahaha. heck… think gonna find sthg to do soon.
