our supper was pizza frm a nearby bar which cost €3.50 per slice, plus peach tea which costs €3.50 per bottle. we were so shocked at e price of e drink.. that was before we got used to e exhorbitant prices ard e touristy sites. haha..

at doge’s palace
we visited e doge’s palace, where we went on a secret itinerary guided tour! e guide brought us to e cell where e famous casanova once stayed in and planned his infamous escape. we also visited other secret rooms like e torture chamber(!) n e attic etc..

LOL! e ceilings were actually painted in gold n looked really magnificient, but e colors werent captured in e pic as i din use flash.

everythin looks really beautiful! ok note.. it’s e start of e trip.. so yup, everythin looks really beautiful. after 10 days, e buildings look abt e same everywhere wahaha!

us havin lunch at Al Vaporetto.
we had our first lunch at a restaurant far away frm st mark’s square so it’d be cheaper. there i had e best pasta i’ve had in italy!! a simple spaghetti wif clams, but it was so well done, we went back again e followin day (only to find it closed)!

it was short 2 day visit to venice, but we felt 2 full days was jus abt rite. we did quite a fair bit of walkin along e interestingly built, RPG-like streets, but e shops din exactly attract me. think they were too touristy n commercialised.. i was only attracted to e exquisite lookin masks but i din get any cos e one i liked cost €23! siao…

baby on e vaporetto, on our way to e train stn.
