Musicals and Theatres This Week!
it’s musicals and theatres for candy this wk in london!

last saturday me, ray, meifen n ric watched Cabaret, the highly acclaimed musical that’s said to blow your mind! 騙人的.. it was jus so-so and the only interestin part was the pre-war berlin setting and cleverly inserted nude scenes in the show. haha.

then last nite, me n ric went to watch Les Miserables. IT WAS SO GOOD! entertaining, gripping and touching. at the last few scenes the story got so touchin, my tears started streamin.. they jus cldnt stop n i was so embarrassed! hehe. it’s amazin how they can pack so much more content, development n substance in jus half an hr more than Cabaret. Love it!

ric was in charge of gettin e tix and we both thot that 2nd row in the upper circle sounded better than the 10th row in the front-most centre stalls. we were so wrong! it was so so sooo high up that i cldnt even lean back on my seat! i hadda lean fwd all e time to watch it.. but, it was still worth our effort. maybe when baby comes over we’ll go watch again n make sure we sit right in front!

this sat im gg to watch Merchant of Venice! we’re gg to buy the £5 standing seats wahaha! jus for e experience cos e season is ending.. hope it’ll be good n not too tiring. my classmates said they enjoyed it more than sittin down cos the standin seats are right in front and they can almost “touch” the actors! haha..
