i had a private lunch wif my CEO ytd for my farewell. i suggested Top of the M at Meritus Mandarin cos me n baby checked it out few nights ago n the night view was so beautiful!

however ytd it was raining n we cldnt see much outside. n since there werent much to look at, n it wasnt my baby sittin opposite me, i’d end up starin at the frames holdin the glass panes at times.

and guess wat? i felt a little disorientated n giddy! motion sickness… MUAHAHAHA. lousy candy…

the food was very nice! i had scallops w mango n caviar for appetiser, a mushroom soup n cod fillet. unlike dinner, the lunch menu was pretty cheap. if i’m not wrong it’s ard $38 / $48+++ for a 3 or 4 course meal. yum yum!!

what a calamity! my mum’s got e chicken pox virus, for e 2nd time! since it’s her 2nd time, she wasnt sufferin like how most first timers wld be. other than itchiness, she doesnt get e body aches, fever etc..

but it’d be very different for me, if i’m infected. i’ve never gotten chicken pox before. n i’m flyin off to london next sunday. there’s a chance that i might not even be able to board e plane if i catch e virus. worse still.. the virus may be in incubation till i reached london, n i’ll be fightin e virus all alone in a foreign land. i might not even noe where e clinic is then. boohoo .. poor me.

to lower the chances of me catchin e virus, i went to e doc last nite n got a vaccination even tho e doc said it’s too late to get e jab now since it takes 2 wks to take effect. oh well.. better late than never wahaha. then i went home to pack my stuffs n went over to baby’s place. i’ll be puttin up at his place for e next 10 days at least.

i have too much at stake to not be paranoid.

so last nite i packed 3 big bags of clothes, toiletries, shoes etc etc n another 3 big bags for my whole pc, includin monitor, CPU, speakers etc, to baby’s house. in e car i felt like a princess who was fleeing her fallen kingdom to seek refuge at a shabby village hut. my baby was my knight in shining armour, protectin me n sendin me to a safe land.

so today i had to take public transport to work. the original plan was to wake up close to 2 hrs earlier than my usual to have breakfast wif baby n then take e train together to office, however we were so sleepy, we decided to give breakfast a miss.

i woke up at 7.45am n we left home at 8.05am. it was drizzlin by e time we set off. sigh… i knew this wld happen. boohoo. we decided to take a bus to e train station instead but the bus was so crowded! i stood at the back door n instructed the stupid ppl to move in to e back so that we can board e bus. we managed to squeeze onto e bus eventually.. freak..

i alrdy miss being chauffeured to work every morning. but.. for e sake of my big plans, i will ENDURE!! BOOHOO…
