today we were walkin to e mkt to get lunch when xing xing accidentally kicked a metal basket at a convenience store. we din think too much abt it n continued walkin but a few steps later xing xing said his little toe was bleedin. not thinkin that it’ll be serious, i was like “oh.. i go get tissue.”

when i came back wif tissue, there werent streaks of blood on his toe, but a pool of it on his slippers! wtf.. gross gross gross!! it was e most blood i’ve ever seen. i got some tissue paper out n pressed it against his toe, hopin that e pressure will stop e blood.

we were stuck in front of e convenience store for some time, me squattin before xing xing to stop e bleeding. i was quite scared n worried plus grossed out by e blood, but i hadda keep my cool cos if not xing xing will never stop bleeding! a kind soul offered to give us plaster n tt made me feel slightly better.

before long xing xing started feelin faint n was abt to black out. i helped him to a chair nearby n got him some soyabean drink n some bread so that he wont feel so drained.

when he was better we took a cab to a nearby 24-hr clinic (since all e clinics were closed on a sunday morning) for proper dressin n a tetanus jab.

phew.. wat a scary incident! my baby is always so poor thing n so suay.. i was so scared that he’d pass out at e mkt! but luckily i was able to keep calm, even at e sight of SO MUCH BLOOD n grotesque, to stop his profuse bleedin n get us to e clinic. muahahaha.

n stupid xing pig was tellin me he still wanted to dance wif this who n that who n he can leave alrdy. which left me askin “then me leh??” boohoo. i sounded like an idiot.

so irritating. i hate salsa. i think we shld jus quit salsa. boohoo..

i went to apply for my visa this morn before gg to office but it was rejected!!

Reason #1:
The photo is outdated. It’s e same photo in my passport n my passport was made in 2005, so this implies my photo is not recent, even though i still look very much the same.

Reason #2:
Bank account summaries are not accepted. When they refer to bank account statements they meant bank account transaction details. Can they get any more vague??

wtf man. i woke up at 7am today (like 2 hrs before my current normal wakin time), got stuck in e stupid 8am jam n paid $4 at e ERP gantries to get to the visa application centre! why can’t they just be more organised n put everythin on e website? all my frens have to go to the centre twice before they can get the application accepted. wat an inefficient system!!

See!! jus as i was talkin abt the baby name issue, fiona asked me why isnt it Aurelia Chan Xiao Xing.. haha!

precisely cos Chan is the last name so it shld be last, and precisely cos Aurelia is first name it shld be first! FirstName OtherNames LastName i.e. Aurelia Xiao Xing Chan. and when u write it in another form, it’s LastName(Comma) FirstName OtherNames i.e. Chan, Aurelia Xiao Xing.

LOL.. yah lar u get e idea lar. hahaha.

Adeline’s baby is due anytime this wk! so exciting! she’s my first close fren who’s havin a baby! her baby’s gonna be called Hong Le Xuan (Lezann). nice.. i like e chinese name especially!

well then we were on e topic on baby names n suddenly it reminded me of e trouble we singaporeans have when we write our names in a not-so-singaporean context.

on an application form, for eg, u’ll be required to write ur first name and last name. i actually have frens who’re so dum ass to put their surname as their first name cos for eg if they’re called Chan S_ng E_, their first name is Chan and their last name is S_ng E_. hahaha. wat e hell man. i dun mean my baby lar, jus in case u were wonderin. hahaha.

so anyway on my application form for my actuarial course in london, i’ve already put Candy as my first name but somehow frm somewhere, they gathered that my first name is K_ng so that my name can be G_h, K_ng L_ Candy. So in all e mails they’d start wif “Dear K_ng..”

this is lame. i think i’ll devise a smarter way to name my kids in future haha. btw my first girl will be called Aurelia! Au-re-lia. heehee. it sounds like some flower but it means golden/cheerful~! weehee!

i was so excited, adeline thot i was pregnant!! hahaha..

maybe i’ll call her Chan, Aurelia Xiao Xing aka Aurelia Chan for short. LOL.. haha im kiddin lar. but sthg liddat. Chen Xiao Xing sounds quite nice wat.. hahaha.

Adeline jus sent me an MSN virus!! dammit.

i received it in e form of an msn msg - “check this out. do you think i look ugly in this?” and accompanyin it was a zip file. bein so trustin i received it n unzipped it.

bloody hell!!! it was a stupid PictureAlbum2007 virus and suddenly it sent out the same msg to all my online contacts.

the moment they accept e file or sthg, they no longer can receive any msg frm me. wth. i suspect my anti-virus programme’s virus definition file was also altered. shitty.

after 2 hrs of research & trial n error, and with e help of my geeky baby, we came up wif a solution!

Solution:

1. Force your pc to shut down. Press restart button or power off button if shut down doesnt work.
2. Plug out ur telephone line.
3. Turn on ur computer and go to Run: regedit

4. Go to HKEYLOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE
Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/ShellServiceObjectDelayLoad

5. Find the key “Prodigy1″. Note down the value under Data, then delete “Prodigy1″.
6. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/CLSID. Find the value u’ve jot down in #3 n if u find it, delete.

7. Go to C:/Windows. Search for *.zip and PictureAlbum2007.zip should show. Delete it.
8. Restart your comp. Before it reaches windows, press F8 & restart comp in safe mode.

9. When in safe mode, go to C:/Windows. Search for prodigy. Delete Prodigys323.dll or sthg similar.
10. Restart your computer normally! Voila!! YAY!!

i set up a booth at the china square central flea mkt today!

since i’ll be movin out of singapore soon i decided that i shld sell stuffs that i havent been usin n will not use in the near future. after a few days of packin i brought quite a few big bags of clothes, shoes, beauty pdts n other girls’ barang down to the stall to sell..

my nice bro was my logistics officer! he drove us down wif his company truck but halfway there, the lorry went out of diesel!! shucks man. we had no choice but to park e vehicle in the middle of e road, jus before a temporary divider!

oh man! it looks both very dangerous & very comical!! hahaha

we reached the stall at abt 12pm (supposed to start at 9am LOL!) n bein so convinced that my 2nd hand stuffs will not sell very well, i started sellin them at really low prices. by 2+pm i’ve sold almost half my stuffs on the table.

oh well made abt $270 after takin into acct e price of e booth.. felt a bit of a heart pain after this whole event.. cos altho i no longer use most of the items, i have paid a decent price for all of them n now i’m sellin them off at such dirt cheap prices. there were like brand new dior lipstick, lip gloss, limited edition foundation etc which i bought long time ago but lost interest in before i started using them. sigh…

not to mention my old christian dior bag which was kinda stained so i no longer carry it. amidst the hustle n bustle i recklessly quoted this very amusing lady $20 and after that i wanted to get the bag back but she kept huggin it in her arms n beggin me to sell her.. she went “please.. please.. i really like the bag.. please..” oh well.. i’m jus too nice a person lar. BOOHOOHOO.

we started packin up at abt 5pm. xing xing was feelin damn sian after seatin wif me for e whole day. he said he doesn’t like to do sales. neither do i .. so i felt so drained after half a day of hustling. sian..

well it’s a good experience nevertheless. at least i get to understand better the value of money .. tho xing xing n i conclude that i really duno e value of things and so i tend to spend illogically. BOOHOO.
