tried a pretty nice green checkered dress frm zara n was decidin if i shld get it for cny. as i alrdy have big plans in store this sept n needa save up big time for it, i decided to put it back on e racks n consider again before i make any decision.

the dress is way too loose, which explains why i am without any curves here (!) and i’ll have to bring it to the taillor for alteration. which means more money to be spent. shitty..

shld i, shld i? the dress really doesnt look fantastic here but i have confidence that it’ll look chic after i ask e tailor to make it really form-fitting.. (ok i dunno why e head looks super slim and e bottom is fatter in this pic. hahaha)

u need not use these yoghurt packs if u cant find them in singapore. apparently u can jus use any yoghurt u find in supermkts! mix wif a spatula of korea ginseng and voila!

met fiona for lunch ytd and she gave me a very nice pair of ear rings for my bdae! so i took pics of it n decided to try bloggin it using my HP! but blog.com is so dum.. i waited for eons before e pic was uploaded. then when i wanted to post an entry, it cldnt load e “new post” page and said that e page was too big to load. zzz..

so anyway this is e pair of ear rings! very nice!!

on my way home today there was this dum ass guy who was playin his indian mp3’s out loud frm his phone on e bus. i have nothin against indian songs, but it’s jus so inconsiderate n plain irritatin to hear chant-like singin throughout e bus journey when all u wanna do is to close ur eyes n catch some rest.

so i turned ard n said to the guy out loud “do u mind turnin that off?”. think he wasnt sure if i was talkin to him, so he fidgeted n pretended to look away uneasily. heh. so i jus said again, more firmly “do u mind turnin that off?”

now he was lookin at me, n appeared a little ’scared’. haha.. so he reached for his phone n suddenly we have peace again on e bus. but jus 2 seconds later, another indian song started playin. HAHAHA. i think that poor boy prolly thot i asked him to turn off that chantin song.. zzz.

so i gave up. some idiots jus wont learn. luckily he got off jus one stop after that. idiots. sigh…

i watched the show last sat. appeared to be some stupid fantasy mixed with war time show initially. one hr into e show n i was wonderin wat e hell e show was abt haha. i asked kelvin if he wanted to leave but he said we shld watch till e end. alritey..

in e end? din regret watchin that show. it was a very good show and left quite a deep impression on me actually. somehow the script writers managed to link e fantasy part with the war part, leavin e audience a few points to ponder over.

the synopsis:

Ofélia settles down with her mother Carmen, recently remarried with the highly domineering Vidal, captain in the pro-Franco army.

To discover the truth, Ofélia will have to face three dangerous trials that nothing on earth has prepared her for…

the final trial was to use her little brother’s blood in exchange for her return to her palace. she chose not to hurt her brother and was killed by her stepfather in the end. the final scenes showed her returnin to her palace because she had passed e final trial by opting to sacrifice herself over an innocent life.

someone said she’d like to believe that ofelia was finally reunited with her parents in the palace. but me the cynic found the endin very disturbin! i see it as a very very sad endin cos she thinks she’s returned to her world but actually it’s all part of her imagination. basically she was jus killed but she still chose to believe in fairy tales. damn why m i so cynical?? why why why??!! sheesh..

the whole show was full of gory scenes, shattered hands, slit mouths, monster frog that melted into gooey pus(!) etc.. i’ve always thot my threshold for gross shows is quite high but this one was a little bit too much for me man. haha. by e time i watched e ironic endin, my heart was literally achin n i had probs breathin smoothly.

ask me if it’s a show i’ll recommend, i’d say u definitely shld watch it. but ask me if i’ll watch it again.. i seriously have to think twice, not cos it’s borin, but cos i can’t imagine myself gg thru that mini ’mental torture’ again!

heh so in e end, candy bought a phone that was not even in e list of phones she was lookin at in e first place. oh well.. it’s kinda expected lar haha. and ta-dah! this is my new phone!

i LOVE my new phone!! it’s so fun! there’s a real cool walkman function n a quite-ok 2MP camera and i can read newspapers n check emails on e go! well not like i cldnt do it wif my old phones.. it’s jus that i jus started explorin such functions n me e kampong girl is so so thrilled! hahaha.

i’m so excited cos for e 2nd time in my whole life im gg to buy a handphone for myself! haha okok im a super kampong girl remember? all other phones i’ve had were bought by either my mum or uncle n e first time i ever spent on a phone was when me n jiayu got the then-damn-hot sthg-i phone frm samsung which was e first flip phone that got really popular. well but samsung sucked big time so i changed to another phone in no time.

these days im a true blue sony ericsson fan and have been loyal to the brand for yrs. i’m lookin at k800i and z610i. one’s got a 3.2 megapixels camera & e other looks like quite a cute clam shell phone. u prolly have realised that they’re not e latest n most expensive models in e mkt. i no longer believe in spendin too much on phones. I jus need an ok-phone which have all e basic features that i need like bluetooth, 3G, mp3 etc.

jus received an $80 voucher frm M1 ytd and yoohoo! think i’ll needa top up only $108 for k800i or $38 for z610i~!! yippee!!

Surprisingly everland turned out to be quite fun! think they revamped e whole place to make e feel of it more like disneyland, so i liked it more this time round. the snow sled was very fun! it looked kinda dangerous initially but as soon as we rode down e slope it was so fun and stable that we stopped midway to take pictures! haha.. some dum ass korean kid crashed into me after that but no damage was done. concluded that snow sleds r safe stuffs.

it snowed on our 2nd last day!! it was e 2nd time it snowed this winter.. we were so lucky!! but that day we were supposed to go shoppin at dongdaemun, and many small shops were closed due to the ‘bad’ weather. damn.. haha.

that evenin we were supposed to go to lotte world, but i was so sick of lotte world, i decided to shop ard town.. on my own! e tour guide showed me e way to dongdaemun stadium train station n briefed me on how to take e train in seoul. then on our way back to e shoppin area, he pulled my arm n hooked it onto his! freak.. hahaha! and so i walked ard dongdaemun for a few hrs only to find e most interestin shops closed. undeterred, i took a train to myongdong n managed to buy some boots n stuffs there. yippee!

we made kimchi and wore e traditional hanbok! im a sucker for costumes!! haha.. i also managed to take a pic wif lee young ae! yah rite…..

Happy New Year!!

Let’s see wat fun miss snow white had in korea!

there’s lotsa nice scenery at jeju, lotsa stones stuffs, mountain stuffs etc, which are nice, but.. urm.. din really excite me that very much. i’d have loved it much more if they were covered in snow tho. we went to this road called the Mysterious Road. apparently all things roll up e hill instead of downward. u can see e video below but e slope aint that obvious.

the only REALLY fun place was.. the TEDDY BEAR MUSEUM! haha.. little snow white went crazy at the museum and bought so many stuffs at the teddy bear souvenir shop! SO CUTE!!

after 3 days in jeju, we took a domestic flight back to seoul and went to Hanwah hotspring resort. it was jus as cool as the one i went to in hakone, but to dip in the hot outdoor pools durin winter was a totally different experience haha. dammit e tour guide told us cameras were not allowed so i din have any pics of us in e hotsprings. anw the rooms in the resort have 2 bedrooms, one wif e normal bed, e other is a room wif heated floor for u to lay futons on. it’s damn shiok to slp on e heated futons durin winter! so fun!!

the trip got more n more excitin as we moved to Yongpyong ski resort after a night at Hanwah. we took a gondola up to the highest point of the resort. there we saw skies that were so blue, they looked like pictures someone painted. e expensive gondola ride was indeed worth the price hehe. it was snow white’s first time at skiing.. had only done snowboardin before so was kinda scared. but weet! i was such a pro can.. hahahaha! din fall at all n cld control my directions left right n brake damn steadily man.. i love both snowboard n ski~!!
