argh decided not to blog on the isetan private sale. basically i jus spent alot, bought alot, chalked up a hell lot of credit card bills. e “effects” of retail therapy jus doesnt last on me man. sigh.

i have nice nails yesterday for my bdae! yayy!! make a guess on how much the whole thing (plus similar designs on e toes) costs! hahaha. ok e crystals look much nicer n shinier than these in e pics. bad camera at work again. need a new one. sian..

but last nite durin drinkin session at liquid kitchen, i was peelin off e skin frm e texas wings and damn! suddenly i realised 2 crystals were gone!! i found one stuck in e chicken skin.. freakin hell. proves wat e manicurist said abt how such crystal stickers dun last. so girls, next time get those non-sticker crystal studs instead..

today i feel like shit. last nite was still good, i was still lookin fwd to e korea trip, but now, i jus feel damn sian. abt life, abt everythin. PMS?

i dragged myself to union square and was so bad that a regular dance partner said “oh no, u’re gettin rusty!” ok.. i think i wanna quit salsa for at least a mth. sian.

wonder how e korea trip will turn out. hope it’ll make me feel better. hopefully e PMS will go away soon.

well forget abt e unhappy stuffs. i shopped frm 9am till 9pm on my bdae eve and blew a big big hole in my pocket. somehow i feel that i’ve almost used up my bonus alrdy. and bonus only comes in next mth.

so e cunning gunung raya mgr was very unreasonable and insisted that they’ll not be liable since there’s no agreement in black and white. how irresponsible!! so wat we can do is to fight till e end wif them n demand compensation etc but it’s really a waste of my time. i’ve alrdy wasted 2 days at work callin them, draftin letters etc. wat fuckers. idiots.

so anyway i found another itinerary at SA tours and went to pay for it yesterday. it basically goes to e same places which i wanna go, but doesnt include those highlights that i was soooo lookin fwd to, like e ATV ride, e spa package, e ritz carlton stay & other 5* hotel stays etc etc. the worse thing is.. this costs even more than the gunung raya package! so we’re paying more for sthg less. how sick!!!

wat to do rite? who asked us to trust the irresponsible gunung raya in e first place.. im not so lookin fwd to this trip anymore. altho i still feel happy gg to korea, the initial excitement i had is really gone.

hmmm.. poor candy. *sulks*

today i received a call frm my travel agent informin us that our korea trip is cancelled cos a grp of 20 jus pulled out and we’re e only 2 left in e grp. i seriously dun believe that bitch. i offered her a chance to salvage e situation by allowin her to find me alternative tour packages. she came back wif 2 lok-kok packages that have very lousy itinerary n hotels n everythin. being so damn bloody fuckin pissed, i faxed her a letter.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I write to you with regards to the tour package, “8D Korea Winter + Jeju Splendour” which was presented to me via fax on 27 November 2006. Among the other features in the itinerary, you promised me the following highlights which are the key factors that have led to my acceptance of your offer:

·         Guaranteed 2 night stay at World Class Phoenix Park Ski Resort

·         Day + Night ski with equipment included

·         Exciting ATV + Jet Boat Adventure Ride

·         Stay at Jeju Hanwha Spa Resort with Therapy Centre Spa Package

·         1 night hotel stay at Ritz Carlton,
Seoul

·         Remaining nights in 5-star hotels

·         Visit to the teddy bear museum in Jeju

·         Moonlight Hangang River Cruise with Dinner Show

Pursuant to this, you agreed on several occasions that the tour has been confirmed and I have made a partial payment of S$1,000 on 28 November 2006, out of the total S$3,696 for 2 persons, only on account of this. You have promised that the partial payment suffices to indicate the acceptance and confirmation of participation in the above-mentioned tour.

However, today I was informed that the tour would be cancelled. The reasons are immaterial to me. I understand that the circumstance has been unforeseen, however my schedule has been worked out and it is not possible to leave on alternative dates. I am unwilling to accept any refund of payment because this was not part of the terms for a confirmed tour as represented by you. I am also unwilling to settle for an alternative itinerary which does not promise features at least of the same standard, because these features have been considered and selected carefully and this explains why I paid a higher price for your tour package, as compared to what is being offered in the market in general.

As such, I am only willing to accept any one of the following offers, failing of which, I will not hesitate to bring this matter further with the relevant authorities.

1.        You will form a group of 10 and arrange for the tour to proceed as promised.

2.        Failing of which, you will arrange for the exact tour for my travel partner and I, at the same price you have

         agreed on for the original package.

3.        An alternative itinerary from another travel agency, but must be of at least the same standard, and will be           offered at the lower of its retail price or the price of your original package. I am prepared to depart           Singapore from 28th to 30th December 2006.

It is to my utmost disappointment that such an unexpected event has to happen. I had trusted Gunung Raya because it is an established and reliable agency. I hope that such goodwill will not be undermined by this unfortunate event and hope to hear your favourable reply soon.

so last sun i was out wif yimei for some shoppin. right at e top on my shoppin list are jeans frm levi’s (since i have 25% off) and a winter bag (since i needa use it durin korea trip). so in e end, i bought 2 pairs of patty annes frm levi’s. patty anne is aka e slim cut haha which makes me look slimmer! i bought 2 pairs of jeans that’s of e same cut, jus different wash. like how bo liao rite.  

i also bought a real short denim mini skirt frm heeren to add to my pathetic collection of mini skirts. i have not many mini skirts since i was never really into them. but lately i jus started to wear them more often so i think now i needa get at least 10 good ones into e wardrobe.

so then i also bought my new belly stud. and that’s abt it. din manage to find e bag i wanted. spent abt $300+, but din feel a thing like wat they claim as retail therapy.

so nowadays shoppin’s been liddat every mth. spent abit here, there, everywhere.. victoria’s secret, chemical peels, H20+, vivocity etc etc.. i think shoppin has become such a common + regular thing to me that it no longer thrills me that much. maybe i needa spend $1k on things that’re not too ex before i can feel e kick, so that i really can go home with my hands full of shoppin bags!

hah… or i can jus go vivocity shoppin for an entire day + movie at nite!! that gets me kinda excited! haha..

for 4.5 yrs my belly piercin has been havin pus and bleedin slightly every single day. i swear i thot i only had e piercin for only 2 yrs lor.. time flies!! i’m gettin old!! shucks..

and so there’s this slight bruising if u notice at my belly.. which e doc said was due to e piercing. boohoo.

today i decided to go consult e artist at heeren where i got it done. heh she was damn smart.. cld guess that i’ve never taken out the stud before to clean for e past 4 yrs plus. haha! sick leh.. i tried to unscrew it long time ago but it was so damn tight n painful can.. but she did it in like less than 10 sec. freakin hell. next time jus needa pay $5 to get her to help me.. im sucha wimp!! BOOHOO….

today our chief actuary treated those of us who passed exams to buffet lunch at the line at shangri la! SHIOK!! it was damn nice n i had quite a bit of good food (but by normal ppl’s stds i’m still quite waste-money at buffets).

other than e food n desserts, the whole concept is good cos the place is spacious and the food counters are so strategically situated such that all e pathways are curved and enclosed. i felt like a little girl in a playground! a playground full of yummy food!!

i din take any pics (this was taken frm e website) cos we were wif e big boss n i dun wanna appear juvenile wahaha. argh.. how i wish i can have buffet brunch every sunday.. yah dream on dum ass!

we had our dnd at a hotel finally this yr. it was usually held at clubs previously n i thot it was damn fun! well anyway it’s so kns. heard e agents have theirs at shangri-la while we e office ppl have ours at crown prince.

our colleague eunice n thong wah performed cha-cha for us! that’s them practisin outside e ballroom. they’re really not bad leh! haha.
