my 1st Manulife dnd …

it’s the annual company dnd this friday! at manulife, the dnd is not ur usual 10-course dinner at some posh hotel, but is held at some club every year. this time, our dnd will be held at ONE, at one fullerton, which is the old centro lar.

poor candy, bein relatively new in the co, genna sabo-ed onto the stage to join this stoopid mini-pageant. argh.. wat crap. so we’ll have an intro segment, where everyone will play some role in SCH UNIFORM. and guess wat, i’m gonna be Miss Cheerleader.

so being the last minute me, i started thinkin of steps last wk, and jus got the music done tonite (Many thanks to Benjamin TOH!!). and tmr, i gotta go for our final rehearsal after work n then go get my CHIJ sch uniform frm a colleague’s aunty who so coincidentally happens to be sellin uniforms! and then, on thurs i might needa travel to hall to get the pompoms. and man, hall is in bloody BOON LAY.. argh omigod. it’s so damn bloody irritatin.

there’s also another segment where we’ll don our nice cocktail dress and do a short catwalk and Q&A (CRAP??!!) item. so then my dress is, by my colleagues’ standards, wayyy too low cut and i hadda ask mummy to sew some hooks along the revealin bust line so that i can buckle up and still look cool. haha will post the pics soon!

for the past few days the long to-do-list of silly errands has been makin me very frustrated and pissed, but as the big day draws near, the thot of bein able to wear my st nicks sch uniform again and plus some catwalk in a sexy dress is makin me excited! i hope the event turns out to be fun and happening! we’re gettin free flow of whiskey and housepours and beer and wateva that nite! oooh… COOL…

1. CD Romantique Boston Bag - would have been my top choice if not for e fact tt it’s too small. argh..
2. CD Romantique Bag - pretty elegant but easily mistaken as Aunty’s bag. hmph.
3. Loewe’s hottest Amazona bag - i think this looks very cool but ppl say it’s too plain + normal-looking.

I PASSED MY EXAM!! wahaha.
ok, now this adds to my pathetic count of 3 papers.
i have passed 4 papers now!!
and i’m gonna take 3 papers in april!!
god bless me pls, cos i might jus go crazy wif the workload.
ok i’m goin to work. hahaha.

* love + fun in the air *

the past wk has really been a very interesting wk. let’s list down wat i’ve been up to since last fri to commemorate this wonderful period! (well, frm the previous post, u can tell that i had a nice nite out wif wai chiong on fri so i’m gonna skip that)

sat 29/10/2005:
was salsa-ing the entire day! went for our salsa level 2 graduation that nite at xenbar and it was pretty fun! well at least it made me like salsa once again. was supposed to meet fiona after that at thumper but dum ass candy dozed off at home n only woke up the next morn at 8am! haha.

sun 30/10/2005:
met wai chiong for tea at raffles hotel and i tried scones for the first time hehe but nope, i dun really have a thing for scones. they’re jus bread. wahahaha. then we went to watch Legend of Zorro and went for dinner at wala wala. the vongole i had was so spicy, plus my stomach was alrdy churnin that day, so i puked some yellowish stuffs out after our late dinner. eeew..

mon 31/10/2005:
it was halloween nite and i met up wif the ACS ppl for dinner after work. i brought clothes to change and so me, angel, fiona n nic partied at o-bar after dinner! wai chiong, yimei n the salsa ppl joined us at ard 12plus after their salsa party at sean’s place. so then mr choo wai chiong got tipsy and hadda send me home in a cab. that nite he promised not to rush into things (as in the physical stuffs) becos he doesnt wan us to end up in a fling. cool..

tue 01/11/2005:
it was deepavali holiday! yippee. well as u alrdy can guess, i met wai chiong.. at borders after his deepavali lunch, and then i accompanied him to see his insurance agent! so now i know his financial status haha. well, he’s qt poor. shucks shucks. his car is takin up too much of his money every mth. yuck. ppl, never buy a car too early. it’s a liability and long term loans suck.

wed 02/11/2005:
well we hadda go back to work (how sucky) but heh the followin day was a public holiday! this is an interestin one heh. wai chiong asked me to go zouk but i din really wanna go since i was feelin so tired that mornin, so i purposely did not bring clothes out. then suddenly cousin angeline jio me to zouk too. then suddenly i realised dewei, george, edmun, danny were all gg down zouk wif their frens! how cool. then it seemed like i shld jus go that nite haha

so then i met xuefen & sebast for dinner at sakae and after dinner i went to buy a pair of VERY NICE jeans frm levi’s and a simple tube top and changed into them. BUT then.. zouk was a leeetle beeet too crowded (OMG) so we ended up gg nowhere and drove to sentosa for a drink (yeah literally 1 drink). haha. wat crap. wasted my money and effort in dressin up but it was still a fun nite! i stayed over at wai chiong’s place but yep, we’re still clean. and i jus have to say that i hate dogs. arghhh.

thu 03/11/2005:
shiok shiok, today’s a public holiday AGAIN!! i came home and met uncle for some late lunch at jack’s place and damn they din have escargots today (that’s my fav food btw!) but i found sthg new that’s pretty nice too. it’s called some crab-stuffed mushroom. and then i shopped online at Victoria’s Secret and blew $500+. it was damn SHIOK!! but great. now i have like $400 left till payday to spend. boohoo.. then at nite it was a short meetin wif wai chiong (again.. shit lar) at casuarina’s prata place and now im back at home packin my stuffs. packin my stuffs for..? well see below for the continuation of the candy and her exciting holiday period:

fri 04/11/2005:
i’m supposed to have dinner at marche cos i have this bad craving for rosti haha. thereafter i shall decide whether i will join wai chiong at wala wala. argh i hate wala wala lar. anyway jus in case i change my mind like last wed, i’ll bring the necessary clothes to work to standby.

sat 05/11/2005:
IT’S WAKEBOARD DAY!!! YAY YAY YAY!! haha. so jus in case i decide to stay over at wai chiong’s place on fri nite, he suggested that i bring my wakeboard attire etc to work on fri too. yup so i’ve been packin and packin cos i’ve got damn alot of barang to bring. hee looking forward to saturday!! this is life man. =)

sun 06/11/2005:
well, no plans yet but i guess i’ll be meetin mr choo wai chiong AGAIN. he’ll be sailing the followin day for a wk, so u prolly will be spared frm any mention of him for the next few days at least. =|
as u can see, this has really been a very happenin and exciting period ever since anthony’s time. with the deepavali and hari raya holidays goin on at the same time, it really feels like some holiday wk.. work one day, play one and a half day haha! but oh well this marks the end of my exciting wk. i hope it will still be fun with mr choo in the wks to come!
