lil’ snow white

today manulife called me to make a job offer. n they sure were in a big hurry to get an ans frm me. i hadda reply by 6pm today, cos that HR girl wans to draft e contract which is to be signed on tues. oh well.. u noe, i wan to go manulife so much, so i accepted it!

n then after that, i’m stricken wif pangs of guilt now. cos i’ve accepted manulife’s offer even before i received income’s offer letter. i din even bother lookin at wat income has to offer me. it seems like i’m so insincere in wantin to go income.

n i was e one who went to tell e income mgr that income’s my FIRST choice. oh damn.. it really was.. until i went to manulife for interview n found out more abt it. well, e income mgr’s gonna think i was jus lyin to him. i feel so sad. i’m sucha bad girl.

all those things abt a competitive world n realistic world out there, yeah i agree. n fren said i’m not gonna get far if i haf such a high need for affiliation. i noe that’s a lil too biased. oh well.. but i sure do care alot abt how others feel. i dun wan to make them feel disappointed in me..

me n lois went to watch sound of music today. it was soooo nice.. haha yes, it’s my fav musical~! but it was a pity that we got e $100 seats cos our seats were so high up, i hadda strain my eyes throughout e musical even tho i was wearin contacts. gosh, my eyesight must have worsened. man..

i am so tempted to go watch it again n sit somewhere nearer to e stage. but who to go wif? bleah.. no one. haha. fine.. forget it. i’ll watch it again 10 yrs or so later when they come again! wahahaha.

so wat’s e next thing to watch? swan lake!! which happens to be my fav ballet!! wahaha cool..

ok, b4 e spree at zara, we were at this small lil shop called HULA & CO at cineleisure. e ah lian salesgirl was so damn bloody rude rite frm e moment we said we wanted to try e clothes on. fine, neva mind.

when i finally wanted to get this mini skirt, i asked for a new piece. apparently e new piece had yellowish stains at e hem, so i asked for another new piece. n duh.. e 2nd new piece was also stained! so when i asked for a 3rd new piece, that bloody bitch said “i can only let u change one last piece.”

that was prolly e most absurd thing i’ve eva heard frm a salesgirl. nabeh n e most irritatin thing was she had one whole stack of e same skirt of e same size in this basket. i plainly said “oh really?” n decided not to get any of those cheap skirts after all.

i’m even more convinced now that u pay a price not only for quality, but also for service. damn those fuckin cheap shops at those kids hangouts. yucks!

today candy, audrey n yanling, went shoppin after their papers n they went mad at zara! hahaha we were tryin on clothes non-stop! there was one pt when i took in like 10 pieces of clothes, n e girl hadda keep half of them at e counter n let me bring in only 5-6 pieces each time.

it was cool cos everyone was so enthu abt tryin clothes, so e’one jus brought more n more clothes to try. in e end i bought 3 skirts n a nice top.. n i’m really very happy wif my purchases! i’m so into knee-length feminine skirts now! wahahaha.

yesterday was a happy day becos i got my first CD bag. it’s called CD Vintage Flower Boston Bag. yeah.. they all have very long names.

i wanted to get e card holder as well cos i always like to haf a set.

yes, that’s so ’90s, bleah. wahahaha.

n then at nite we were at thumper wif tok tok n seng seng n co. it was damn fun! hahaha but fiona n candy are gettin old. they can’t keep up wif e dancin for too long n needa take brks too often! hahahaha.

plus last nite e girls were so spontaneous, we kept dancin wif one another! it’s e first time i’m engaged in such ‘interactive’ dancin wif so many girls i think. cool..

today marks e death of my teddy bear soap frm l’occitane. i was in e shower n suddenly it slipped off my hands n slided into e toilet bowl..(!) gosh. it was so funny cos then it looked like… wahahaha. so i had no choice but to flush my poor teddy off. bye teddy, bye..

today i boarded a bus to manulife for my interview n took a seat somewhere in front of e glass panel at e door. when i looked up, i got a shock frm e damn fierce-lookin lady who was starin at me!! n then i realised it was my reflection. whoa man.. i din noe i can look that fierce.. aiyer.. so scary lar. wahahaha.

think: why is it that koreans n chinamen r so against japan even after so many yrs since e Japanese occupation? singaporeans, on e other hand, can’t really be bothered if e new japanese history textbook whitewashes e japanese militarism durin WWII?

plus: why did those chinamen protest outside japanese department stores in china? u dun see singaporeans doin that?

hah.. this i noe~!! that’s cos e opportunity cost of singaporeans doin sthg so stupid, immature and time-wasting is definitely much higher than those chinamen. imagine us taking one day off work to riot outside takashimaya. e wages we lose will prolly be 10 times more than those idiots!

rem i said i wanna get poetry birko? they ran out of e smallest size at wheelock. it was sold out online too! so i had no choice but to choose a similar design - english garden in cream. well, it’s e latest spring design n yet they still dun haf my size at wheelock!! oh man.. all e sizes r too big!!

so, in e end, i settled for.. english garden black. i hope angel buys english garden white,then we can wear it out together!! haha there’re a couple of things we both haf, but in different colors. so cute!

some time back Pern asked if i wanna buy birks at a cheap price. his fren’s fren’s uncle had some stock, apparently leftovers frm his ‘closed-down shop’. first thing that came to my mind was which shop? cos no matter how cheap, i dun wanna get birks frm unreliable sources.

thing is, e wheelock store doesnt haf my size for the design i wan, so my only choices left: either buy it frm Pern’s fren’s fren’s uncle or buy it online, which will end up more ex cos of shipping.

so in order to ascertain e trustworthiness of fren’s fren’s uncle’s birks, i asked Pern to help me ask where e uncle’s shop used to be. n somehow that idiot fren got irritated. she said “wah lao, close down liao, what she want to know?”

C..B.. even if e shop has closed down, wont u even noe where it was at? tanglin mall? wheelock place? nobody asked for e postal address anyway. n if u can ask for e price of Poetry for me, there’s no reason why u can’t jus ask where e shop used to be at.

point is, i think that idiot girl is lyin abt e shop. she prolly got it somewhere cheap n wanna sell it for a profit. nabeh. how dare she get angry while tryin to sell some highly dubious goods!
